Call for Articles

The editorial committee of the Journal of Corporate Governance is currently receiving articles for publication in the Journal.

The Journal of Corporate Governance is the leading, peer-reviewed corporate governance journal in Nigeria, devoted to discussions on issues promoting the effective practice of corporate governance within and outside Nigeria. It is a recognized reference resource on matters relating to corporate governance, seeking to expressly solicit a diversity of opinions on issues concerning corporate governance with a view to framing and encouraging public debate and awareness.

The Assessment Process

Papers submitted to the Journal are first reviewed by members of the editorial board. Papers that passed this review are sent for a double-blind assessment by experts in the relevant subject area, and the decision on whether to accept for publication is then made by the editorial board.

Guidelines for Writers

Articles must be well-researched, original and deal with contemporary corporate governance issues. The manuscripts that we publish are generally between 3,500 and 10,000 words in length, including footnotes. Although the page limit is flexible, papers that are substantially longer should be condensed before being submitted. We only consider submissions that have not been previously published and that are not simultaneously under consideration for publication elsewhere.

We follow strict citation rules and principles. Each citation should be as complete as possible.

Participants should submit their works on or before 31 January 2023.
